The Shark Reef is home to more than 1,200 different species, including 15 different species of sharks, tropical and fresh water fish, reptiles, marine invertebrates and rays. Includes blacktip reef sharks, whitetip reef sharks, bonnet head sharks, nurse sharks, sand tiger sharks, sandbar sharks and lemon sharks. Total size is more than 105,000 square feet in all. Shark Reef exhibits and the Animal Husbandry Building facilities hold almost 2 million gallons of seawater.

View the city in 360-degree panorama at the Stratosphere Tower. The tallest freestanding observation tower in the United States, the 1,149-foot tower consists of an outdoor deck at the 869-foot level and an indoor deck at the 857foot level. Termed a "pod," the indoor deck rests on three legs. Because of this, the glass angles outward; those afraid of heights are better off on the outdoor deck. A bank of elevators beams guests up to the pod at a dizzying 1,800 feet a minute. Total time from ground level to pod: 30 seconds. But spectators get the best view of Vegas. The indoor deck is the loading area for the Big Shot; however, the outdoor deck is the best if you want to snap some picture or watch the riders.
